Seamless Integration with SharePoint

ControlPoint integrates transparently with the MOSS Record Center and
Policy interfaces. ControlPoint provides functionality to declare records through the SharePoint interface, access to the Autonomy Fileplan through SharePoint web parts and integrated searching across multiple repositories.

Policy integration makes it possible to link Team Sites to the Autonomy Fileplan such that records can be declared from SharePoint in a “single click”. Additionally, Autonomy can be chosen as the destination for the expiry function in MOSS, allowing documents and records to be migrated to the Autonomy archive with no user intervention. Using the Smart Shortcut functionality, a link to the item will still appear in the document library providing continuity to the user.

Autonomy’s IDOL Server provides a comprehensive, scalable information processing platform, with over 500 advanced functions from which the enterprise can choose to interface as SharePoint Web parts, including Autonomy’s Information Governance solution.
