Legal Hold
Leveraging IDOL to access more than 400 different repositories, Autonomy Legal Hold supports automatic identification, preservation, and collection across SharePoint, archives, enterprise repositories, file shares and live operational data, including custodian desktops and laptops even when not connected to the corporate network. IDOL builds an index of all of the data across the enterprise which can then be used to automatically execute policy and identify potentially relevant documents. The relevant documents are identified by the IDOL engine using keyword, Boolean, metadata, conceptual and contextual legal search. Autonomy supports any and all preservation and collection methods in a forensically sound manner, including custodian self-preserve and self-collect, remote collection, preservation-in-place (no need to move data out of SharePoint) and moving the files to a central policy server and forensic collection.
