Brian Baird
CEO

Joint founder of Meridio in 2001, Brian joined the Company as Sales and Marketing Director and became CEO in March 2002. He is a Managing Director with international sales and marketing experience. He has a strong background in growing businesses through strategic leadership and market focus, and has joint venture, acquisition and business set up experience.

Prior to joining Meridio, Brian spent 15 years with Fujitsu / ICL, most recently as Managing Director of ICL in Ireland and with previous positions in Marketing, Sales and Management including Northern Ireland Country Manager and Sales & Marketing Director, ICL Ireland. Brian started his career with Honeywell Information Systems in Project Management and Sales roles. He has served as a board member of Kainos Software Ltd., Synergy Centres Ltd and ICL ITC.

He received an honorary doctorate from University of Ulster for services to the ICT industry in 2001 and was awarded the Northern Ireland IT Professional of the Year 2003 by the Belfast branch of the British Computer Society.

Jeff Wylie
CFO

Jeff joined Meridio in 2004 from a successful background in venture capital management, corporate finance and software with organizations including Ernst & Young (London), Bank of Ireland Group (Dublin and Belfast) and Amacis software.

At Amacis, Jeff managed finance, administrative and HR functions across operating offices in Belfast, London, Boston and Hong Kong. He was directly responsible for raising over $12m in venture capital funding and was a key player in the company’s sale to NASDAQ-listed Primus in December 2003.

Alan Gilmore
CTO

Alan joined Meridio as Chief Technology Officer, having been a manager in sister company Kainos since its formation in 1987. There he held the most recent position of General Manager for the Kainos Products Division, which offered the Meridio Document Management System, and was a Director of the company.

Whilst in Kainos, he established initial quality standards and development processes for the company. He was instrumental in building the technical capability of the company from zero to over 300 people and led a range of technical development projects for the company. Alan initiated the project which led to the Meridio product.

After completing a Mathematics degree at Cambridge, Alan spent two years as a research programmer at the Ulster Polytechnic, before joining Software Ireland in 1979.
